Okay, so Webcomics.com will be getting a facelift. Put your bets in people! What does this mean? Think they'll get a new forum? Since the Assetbar is a failure for Kurtz (no update since the 8th again) will he stick with Twitter/Facebook as it suits his needs or are they going to try again?

I dunno, I guess it's all in "Jon and Kate" territory for me -- I know people are talking about it and it's a thing, but it's way off my radar. There's no animosity; I just can't be bothered to find out about it.

I think if he does make a new forum, every single one of us should make an account there as if moving into a new home.

Make a poll. I'm going with a new forum.
Then, us and the Forumopolis guys should enlist the aid of /b/ to troll/spam/DDOS it into oblivion.

I'm with ZenMonkey on this one. I check all my webcomics when I get to work in the morning and if Scott's isn't up, half the time I can't be bothered to check back later in the afternoon. The comic has definitely taken a ride on the yawn express lately anyway.

This. But this whole thing makes me want to see The Epic of Halforum as a Space-Opera webcomic. First story arc could be the end of the last forum/ship and the main characters scrambling to reassemble on a new ship. Second story arc could be investigation into the end of the previous ship, and general adventures around the universe.

Third story arc is the return of Lord Kurz, in a new forum/ship, intending to lure away the crew of the Halforum. When they stand faithful to captain Edrondol, a long and violent shadow war erupts in the docking bays and backalleys of space stations and distant worlds ...

My bet: Scott got bored with it.

It's the same reason he switches comics/forums/collectives/site designs every year or so.

I'm betting no forum. Don't see why they'd have another webcomics.com forum after deleting the first one, unless they're, like, crazy.

If they start another forum, they definitely need harsh reminders of the massive FAILs they achieved since Thanksgiving. It's at least two forums they started and killed since then, right? And Kris still doesn't understand why they failed.

Re: Scott's Twitter - taking Bets!

OK, who posted this(spoilered due to possible NSFW):

[spoiler:2mp4pe86]It's always been a fantasy of mine to be a sex slave for 2 bears, male and female, pleasing the male when she's tired, and vice versa. Slowly sliding my lips up and down his thick shaft, tasting his pre-cum on my tongue. Once he's had enough of that, he rolls over onto his back, lifting me up as though I weighed nothing. Gently placing me on his cock, I guide him in, feeling him stretch me wide open. I moan with pleasure, feeling him fill me up. He growls softly, I feel it rumble deep in his chest, vibrating all the way down his body and through mine. He continues to lift me up and then pull me down. He's doing all the work for me, it feels so good, the warmth of the fur, his paws either side of my waist. He is in total control, I'm just nothing compared to his vast size and strength, but I have total trust in him, I know he won't hurt me. I feel the pace quicken, almost imperceptibly. I slowly stroke myself, feeling myself nearing the point of no return coming closer with every stroke. I can hear the growl getting louder now; he speeds up even more, forcing me further and further down onto his thick cock. If it wasn't for the fact I my body is releasing so many endorphines, I would probably be screaming in agony. Except I am panting and whining, just like a bitch, begging her mate to fill her up. His claws dig in deeper, the pain, its excsquisite. It sends me over the edge. My head goes back, I let out a short grunt, I feel my cock explode, covering his chest fur in my seed. I keep stroking, it looks as though I'm trying to rip my cock out. I let out another grunt, another torrent flows forth, then another and another. A drop lands on the beasts muzzle. He seems confused for a moment. That's what I think. He digs his paws in even harder now and slams me onto his cock, I feel his grumble turn into a roar. He's cumming, oh my god. I can feel in, filling me up. It's undescribable. He's mating with me, he's claimed me. I feel him slow, his cock still throbbing within me, it seems as though there's no more room for his cum. It's dripping out of me, onto his fur. I reach down, and then bring my hand up, tasting him. It's more than I ever expected. It's heaven.[/spoiler:2mp4pe86]

The setup looks like all they want is comic related talk, so good for them. It's not like they are trying to rebuild the forum. Personally I say let em be, that was just the first thing that I clicked on there. Twas a bit of a surprise.

Personally I think we should all just stay away from it. Let us not go and cause harm OR cause it to thrive. Going back there and returning to Kurtz in any fashion is like an abused spouse who just keeps taking the abuser back telling themselves "it'll be different this time."

It's time to cut the chord and turn away. No ill wished but if he's going to succeed with this new venture, it won't be with my support in any fashion.

though maybe I should lock down the T_N and Yavaux namesakes

Re: Scott's Twitter - taking Bets!

I think this is the best.
[spoiler:2fgwa9s1]Calvin lay there in bed, next to his tiger. His fourteenth birthday was tomorrow. He was getting older, puberty striking at his mind, voice, and body. He kissed Hobbes on the cheek, puling him closer and thanking him for being his friend.

Then it happened. It had been happening often since he was thirteen and he had no control over it. His erection tented his boxers, pressing against his friend's rump.

"Stop.." Hobbes mumbled with a growl, pushing him away.

Calvin turned onto his back, pulling his under shorts down and revealing his standing pillar, about five inches. Average, he figured.

He shook Hobbes awake. He didn't wake easily and grumbled and growled, but eventually sat up. "What, Calvin?" He asked angrily, wanting very much to go back to sleep.

    "I love you."

"I love you too.." Hobbes said awkwardly. 'What is this about?' He wondered.

    "Do you really love me?"

"Yeah, why?" Hobbes sat up further, sleep forgotten.

"I want to mate with you.." Calvin blushed.

"Wait! What? You're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel Air.

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the liscence plate said "fresh" and had dice in the mirror. If anything, I could say that this cab was rare, but I though "nah, forget it, yo home to Bel Air"!

I pulled up to the house at about seven or eight, yelled to the cabbie, yo homes, smell you later. Looked at my kingdom, and I was finally there, to sit on my throne, as the Prince of Bel Air.[/spoiler:2fgwa9s1]
