I couldn't find a recipe for one so I made one up just now. I'll let you all know how it turns out in 30 minutes.
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 TSP baking soda
1 TSP baking powder
1/2 TSP salt
1 cup veggie oil
2 TSP vanilla
3 eggs
1/3 cup Tampico
baking @ 350*F

I think your main problem is that there's no butter in that recipe.
